Open Letter To Volkswagen AG
To: Johan de Nysschen – President, Audi of America, Inc., Detlef Wittig of Volkswagen AG, Head of Worldwide Group Sales and Marketing.
Dear Sirs,
In producing and releasing the “Green Police” advertising campaign, Volkswagen AG has gone too far.

To suggest that a Governmental agency or Supranational agency should have the ability to interfere and dictate the smallest personal choices of free individuals and citizens, is outrageous, and borders on the tacit approval of Fascism, and other Totalitarian systems of Government.
To suggest that children should monitor the activities of their parents and report them for such innocuous activities as taking a hot bath, borders on the Orwellian and smacks of the tactics of the Gestapo in Nazi Germany, and the Stasi in Eastern Germany. I pay my water bills, I pay my heating bills, I should not have to endure my children monitoring my every action, and dictating to me what is moral.
These “tongue in cheek” advertisements reflect a growing sinister reality.
Innocent children are being recruited to monitor their families activities for the state.
Citizens are Punished for not sorting their garbage properly.

Environment Agency sets up green police
The Pseuedo-Science that justifies these intrusions into peoples lives is being discredited daily.
This series of ads has a much larger problem than simply the fact that there actually was a NAZI “green police”. That fact alone should have made Volkswagen AG think twice about this.
In the ad, cars and their drivers are stopped at a checkpoint and the White German/Aryan “Clean” car is allowed through. This mirrors the actual practice during the Second World War that the NAZIs had in creating checkpoints so they could remove undesirables and send them to death camps or slave labour camps. There are survivors of the holocaust who would not find this funny at all, and would in fact be incredibly shocked that this type of action would be suggested in a free society.
Also, innocent people including Police Officers, are arrested and taken away for the most innocent of personal choices. Again, this mirrors all too much the NAZI and other totalitarian government’s practice of persecuting anyone who got in their way. The NAZIs murdered Jews, Romany, the disabled, and any German citizen who resisted them.
Is this the future we are to expect under our would-be Green overlords; a hiking boot stamping on a human face forever?
It is incredibly sad that such a campaign would be approved and released by a company whose origins are inextricably intertwined with the National Socialist Party of Germany, the Fascist perpetrators of the Holocaust.
Need I remind you of this? In 1933, Adolf Hitler gave the order to Ferdinand Porsche to develop a “Volks-Wagen”.
Volkswagen used slave labour to produce their cars for the NAZI war machine, and paid reparations to them recently for their crimes against them.
I believe that this ad Campaign should be pulled from the media due to its moral bankruptcy, and implicit approval of tyranny.
To this end I am calling on Volkswagen AG to do the following.
- Immediately pull the ad campaign from all forms of media, electronic and printed.
- Issue an apology to the free people of the world for this affront to their dignity and insult to their intelligence.
If Volkswagen does not immediately act on these demands, I will be calling for a worldwide boycott of their products.
